The world was lost. Humanity was extinct. In the center of a scorched wasteland, Zephyr stood alone against the God of Destruction, Tartarus. He fought until his body gave out, losing the battle but earning the twisted respect of the gods who watched from above. Amused by his performance, the celestial beings offered him a gamble: return to the past and start again. But Zephyr isn't coming back to entertain them.
